Select Power Systems LLC (SELECT) is a certified small, woman-owned electrical engineering firm offering consulting services and solutions to power utilities nationwide. They are a full-service power engineering and management solutions provider, serving investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and prime engineering firms. AND President and CEO Heather Eason is a South Carolina native!

Heather previously worked for a large international firm that consistently had trouble finding qualified, experienced subcontracting partners. It was suggested that as an electrical engineer herself, she should start her own firm and address the need. After consideration, she determined there was an opportunity to just be better and do better in business, to excel at customer service, do excellent work, and change office cultures by being open, transparent, inclusive, and respectful of work life balance.
Heather took her 20 plus years of experience and set out to form SELECT in 2017. Now there are over 40 team members! Heather and her team are committed to providing the best engineering solutions by putting clients first and attracting and retaining the best talent in the industry. How do they do that?
