Alex Mahan
Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, I now live in the Greenville with my wife and two kids. When I’m not working, I’m usually outdoors, playing golf, hiking with my family, or catching live music. I’ve always been drawn to experiences that bring people together, and that same mindset carries into the work I do every day.
I bring over 15 years of experience leading teams and improving operations across multiple industries, including marketing, finance, and real estate. Throughout my career, I’ve gravitated toward roles that require strong leadership, clear communication, and a willingness to fix what’s not working. Whether I was managing client relationships at a financial institution, running operations in a real estate firm, or leading cross-functional teams in marketing, I’ve learned how to build trust, solve problems, and drive meaningful change.
Today, I serve as the Service Leader at Advisors Insurance Agency, where I focus on strengthening team culture, refining service strategy, and collaborating with both leadership and the service team to improve how we support our clients. My role is about creating clarity, whether that’s through better processes, stronger communication, or simply making sure people have what they need to succeed.
What motivates me most is helping people do their best work, and creating an environment where that’s possible.
I had a very different and educating experience with you. I got the know about umbrella policy, how the liability limits for auto insurance works and how the dwelling coverage for home insurance works. In the process, I saved a lot of money and got the best coverage I needed. In the past I relied on internet research but I found better rates and some good advice from Advisers Insurance Agency; I am going to refer them to my other friends. Thanks!
When we walked in the office, we were greeted with a warm hello, when we met David he seemed like a very nice person, down to earth kind of guy. When we talked about our car insurance there was no pressure, he gave us the information we asked about and told us we could take out time to think about if we needed to.
