Coop’s Crazy Chicken and Toastified

This month’s edition is two for one! We are excited to introduce you to two restaurants new to Greenville! Father-daughter duo Dave and Tessa Wolfgram have been very busy! Coop’s Crazy Chicken and Toastified will be two of the restaurants located in the new entertainment facility opening in Unity Park-PKL Park.

What is PKL park?”, you may ask.

Well, PKL Park offers a unique blend of pickleball, food, drinks, and entertainment in a lively, open-air setting. Anyone can lounge in the 10,000 square feet of green space, or challenge friends to outdoor games like cornhole and ping pong. PKL Park will also offer live music on the Mark V Stage as well as sports viewing on the 20ft TV screen.

Coop's Crazy Chicken

Coop's Crazy Chicken was born as a tribute to Cooper Wolfgram, cherished as a brother, son, and uncle, who served in the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division. Cooper tragically passed away in March of 2023. The Wolfgram family celebrates Coop's "larger-than-life" and "crazy-fun" personality with their crazy good sandwiches and salads.

Cooper's service in the US Army is what influenced the restaurant’s colors, tag lines and ongoing support of the military and veteran assisted programs. Their menu consists of fried chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, tender baskets, salads, sides, soft serve, slushees, as well as beer and wine!

Community Involvement

Dave and Tessa are honored to be partnering with Service Dogs for Veterans through Coop’s Crazy Chicken. Since 2014, SD4V has helped veterans reclaim their lives, one dog at a time. They provide a unique training program for Veterans to train their own Service Dog, to help them cope with the pain of loss, the nightmare of memory, and the loneliness of survival. This training helps to build strong ADA-compliant Service Dog Teams that positively impacts the quality of life of the Veteran, their families, their dogs, and the community.

Not only do Dave, Tess and the team at Coop’s encourage the community to get involved with this organization, they plan to support SD4V with ongoing donations by hosting special events and donating a percentage of sales from featured items to the cause.

Toastified

Tessa Wolfgram’s passion for healthy eating and her commitment to fitness is the inspiration behind Toastified. She believes in fueling our bodies with nutritious meals that not only taste amazing but also support an active lifestyle. This desire to blend her love for wholesome food with her fitness journey led her to create a restaurant that offers delicious and healthy options for others who share these values.

The branding behind Toastified was inspired by the South Carolina coast. Tessa hopes you can take a moment away from your busy life in the beach inspired space to relax, unwind, and enjoy some delicious food.

Partnering with Community

Toastified is looking forward to teaming up with local gyms and fitness classes to provide discounts to customers within the community! They are also partnering with local food, coffee, and apparel businesses for menu items and uniforms.
