Stewart grew up in Columbus, GA and graduated from Auburn University. After graduation, he went to Oregon to work with YoungLife, a non-denominational ministry for youth. He then moved to SC where he spent 4 years at Anderson University coaching men’s and women’s soccer. When he left coaching, he wanted to pursue business opportunities that offered a way to have his work build on itself with repeat clients. Watching his dad build the insurance agency he started in his 20’s sparked an interest in Stewart. He liked the relationships and teamwork his dad built with his clients and partners over 40 years.

When he’s not traveling with his family or playing basketball, Stewart enjoys building furniture and woodworking in his workshop. Whether it’s an episode of This Old House or a time lapse renovation video, he enjoys the art of how things are made.

Throughout his working career, Stewart’s dad has always reminded him one thing. He says, ”Good friendship doesn’t always make good business, but good business almost always makes good friendship.” Stewart reflects on this advice with every business decision.
