Sully’s Steamers is a locally owned and operated sandwich shop that has been creating “ delicious memories for hungry tummies” in downtown Greenville since March 18, 2013. Founded by Robert “Sully” Sullivan, Sully’s Steamers offers delicious and unique products at affordable prices.

“I love sandwiches!”

When Sully moved to Greenville a little over 14 years ago, he and his wife would go downtown with their young children all the time. When it came time to eat, there were few choices outside of fine dining or pizza, and they wanted more options. His wife, Jill, bought him a steamer to make sandwiches as a Christmas gift. He enjoyed making sandwiches for their friends and family, and soon everyone kept saying that he should open a steamed sandwich shop. Eventually he did!

Why Greenville?

Sully moved to Greenville from Atlanta with his extended family and has enjoyed the downtown area more than anything. He and his family love to walk around and just enjoy its beauty. They also love the Swamp Rabbit Trail and have taken many family bike rides over the years. They enjoy Greenville's proximity to Paris Mountain, so many beautiful lakes and great hiking trails.

What’s next?

There are currently three locations of Sully’s Steamers: Greenville, Clemson, and Brevard. They are continuing to expand locally with a store opening in Simpsonville this winter and one in Mauldin in the summer of 2022. Regarding their growth, Sully says, “We are actively looking for franchisees to work with us in the southeast and are excited to share this opportunity with others.”
