Creating your business brand is an integral part of operating a successful business. Do you have the skills required to accomplish this? This month we are featuring Rooted, located right here in Greenville, in our Small Business Highlight blog series.

Rooted is a boutique creative firm located in the heart of the Village of West Greenville. Their services consist of: brand development; web development; and social marketing. Their process is highly personalized yet simple, innovative, transparent and, most importantly, FUN.

Team Members

Hayes Wynn (far right), Principal/Creative Director, is the entrepreneur behind the marketing firm. Rooted is the product of her desire to be able to use her creativity for something far bigger than herself, while directly impacting people in the most positive way. And, she gets to bring her dog to work!

Brendan Smith is Hayes’s business partner. Not only is he the Strategic Director/Principal, he is the “left brain” to her “right brain”!

Maggie Bray (far left) was an intern with the team last Fall. She began working full time after graduating from Clemson in May. Maggie is the Digital Brand Manager and Designer.

Liam Smith, Digital Producer and SEO Strategist is the most recent addition to the team.

Why Greenville?

Even though Hayes grew up in Atlanta, she has deep Greenville roots. Her parents and extended family, including her husband and his family, were born and raised in Greenville. Inversely, Greenville has always been ‘home’ to Hayes.

Her business partner Brendan Smith also grew up here, however his roots are originally from Boston. Nevertheless, they both found themselves planted in this amazing city and love everything Greenville is about and has to offer. Both Brendan and Hayes feel very grateful to be a part of this community and can’t imagine owning a business anywhere else.
